Ingredients

Lentils (canned)
Black beans (canned)
Onions
Ginger
Garlic
Plant-based butter
Tomato paste
Chilli powder
Soy cream
Salt

Lime

About the Recipe

Step 1: rinse the lentils and black beans under cold water and cook until al dente. Drain them and keep the cooking liquid aside.

Step 2: finely chop the onion, garlic and ginger. Heat butter in a pan and fry until golden brown.

Step 3: lower the heat and add the tomato paste and chili powder.

Step 4: after a few minutes add the lentils, black beans, 80 ml of soy cream, 100 ml of cooking liquid and season with garam masala and salt.

Step 5: let this simmer (covered) over low heat for 90 minutes.

Step 6: just before serving, add the spinach and stir well.

Step 7: serve with cilantro, a slice of lime and a few drops of soy cream.
You can serve this dish with a slice of bread. Enjoy!
